If you have been considering filing for bankruptcy then I am sure many questions have been going through your head.  You are probably wondering whether a bankruptcy is right for you, whether there are any other options, how it will affect your credit in the future, etc… 

I understand what must be happening to you because I had to file for bankruptcy myself about 8 years ago. As for the questions above I cannot speak for your situation but I can tell you one thing that will help you to avoid the mistake I made.  Be sure to hire a lawyer and don’t try a do it yourself bankruptcy. I tried it 8 years ago to save money and it ended up costly me dearly because I didn’t get the most favorable discharge which I learned I could have easily gotten if I had a lawyer who knew what he/she was doing.
