If you have been holding out on your converter box purchase with hopes that companies would come out with better more complete converter boxes then you are in luck.

Channel Master recently came out with the Channel Master CM 7000 which is by far the best and most complete converter box on the market.  There isn’t a feature that the CM 7000 is lacking and in fact it is the only converter box currently available that comes with the S-Video output feature.

Besides being loaded with features the CM 7000 has also been rated tops among all converter boxes in regards to picture quality.  The picture quality for is said to be equivalent to the quality you get while watching a DVD.

The extra features and amazing picture quality however do come at a cost.  While most converter boxes sell for $40-$55 the CM 7000 sells for $70-$85 depending on where you purchase it from. I however believe that it is still a great deal if you use your govt. coupon and would spend the extra money to have this better converter box.
