I remember only a few short years ago that the only type of contact lenses that you could buy were from specialist opticians and they were hard or port possibly gas permeable but definitely uncomfortable to wear and took considerable time to get used to.
How times have changed. Nowadays not only can you get contact lenses which are disposable and very comfortable to wear right from the off but you can get all sorts of colored contact lenses that create a particular look that you might be desiring.
Indeed, not only can you get particular colors you can get all sorts of weird contact lenses that make your eyes look like they are something completely out of the ordinary. For instance you can get contact lenses which make your eyes look like the hero of the film twilight or you can get contact lenses which make your eyes look like a wolf or a monster.
This fact never ceases to amaze me. We have gone from a world of hard uncomfortable contact lenses too weird contact lenses in only a few short years.
